AccessEngineering is an award-winning engineering reference tool for professionals, academics, and students that provides seamless access to the world's best-known, most-used collection of authoritative, regularly updated engineering reference information. AccessEngineering also comprises dynamic online features, such as instructional, faculty made videos, calculators, interactive tables and charts, as well as personalization tools allowing users to organize crucial project information as they work.
Pricing Structure for New Subscribers
Pricing for new subscribers is based on RFTE (i.e. "relevant" FTE). (Pricing for renewing subscribers is based on renewal increase.) When determining your RFTE for this resource, consider the following advice from our rep:
Consider the number of full-time students that would be considered potential users of AccessEngineering, i.e. students that are educated in the following subject areas:
- Business Skills – Quality Control & Efficiency
- Chemical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Communications – Wireless Networks, Fiber Optics, Broadcasting, etc.
- Electrical Engineering
- Energy and Petroleum Engineering
- Environmental and Sustainable Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
The vendor updated the AccessEngineering platform in June 2019. See the vendor’s video below for an overview of the update.
In August 2017, the vendor moved to a new admin platform. User accounts (username/password), and all available data (that is, from December 2013 onward) were migrated to the new platform. Access the new SAMS Sigma admin portal here.
The legacy site (that is, for usage data from prior to December 2013, once available at http://legacystats.accessscience.com/) is no longer available. If you require legacy data, please contact the vendor directly.
